One can filter or purify water using various methods such as boiling, using a water filter, adding chlorine or iodine, using UV light, or using a water purification tablet. Boiling water is one of the most effective methods to kill bacteria, viruses, and parasites. Water filters can remove impurities and contaminants from water, making it safe to drink. Adding chlorine or iodine can also kill harmful microorganisms in the water. UV light can be used to disinfect water by destroying the DNA of microorganisms. Lastly, water purification tablets can be used to kill bacteria and viruses in the water. **

The screen flickers in Pokémon Red due to a programming oversight in the game. This flickering effect occurs when the game tries to render too many moving objects on the screen at once, causing a strain on the hardware. The limited processing power of the Game Boy console used to play Pokémon Red is unable to handle the demands of the game, resulting in the flickering effect as a way to compensate for the overload. **

In Pokémon Go, the screen name is the username that a player chooses to represent themselves in the game. It is the name that other players will see when interacting with them in the game, such as during battles or when exchanging gifts. The screen name can be chosen by the player when they first create their account, and it can be changed at a later time if desired. It is important to choose a screen name that is unique and reflects the player's identity in the game. **

As an AI language model, I don't have personal preferences, but I can provide information. The preference for a Pokémon game often depends on individual preferences for gameplay, storyline, and features. Pokémon XY introduced the 3D graphics and Mega Evolution, Pokémon ORAS brought back the Hoenn region with updated graphics and added features, and Pokémon Sun/Moon introduced the Alola region with new Pokémon and gameplay mechanics. Each game has its own unique features, so the preference ultimately comes down to what aspects of the game are most appealing to the player. **
